Three 19-year-old university students decided to start a company called WebDream. After the initial setup and learning period, in 2002 they launched their first commissioned websites on their first own server, which from 2003 they also provide free web storage and web hosting services.

They get their first real technological challenge in the form of an elderly care portal and the SAP User Club. Working as developers, the founders are already hiring external UI designers and renting their first office. They are launching their webshop gumibazis.hu for car tyre distribution, which they will later sell.

In 2007, they start developing their own ERP system, called WIR, and employ their first developer. They sign a contract with Fővárosi Csatornázási Művek Zrt. and get their first project for a multinational company thanks to Toshiba. Despite the economic crisis, the development team continues to grow.

They move to a new office and now operate from the heart of Budapest, at Astoria. They are commissioned by such prestigious clients as Cetelem, Pickwick, Douwe Egberts, Szegedi Vízmű, Sara Lee and T-Systems. In addition to developing websites, webshops and custom corporate systems, they launch oktatoterem.com, which they use to rent out their unused office space.

Thanks to ISS and Mazars, the first international assignments arrive, while they are also completing their first mobile app and their biggest development: the T-Systems Events Portal. Meanwhile, the number of employees has swelled to 15, and companies such as Cofidis, ERSTE, Bayer, Magyar Telekom, FŐTÁV and many others have partnered with WebDream.

Answering the call of the trends, they start developing in Angular. Now with 30 employees, WebDream is moving to the office on Nagymező Street, which is currently WebDream's headquarters. Among their new partners is Profession.hu, and they are developing more and more applications on React Native platform.

The company continues to expand and WebDream's full service marketing agency is founded under the name Dream Agency. The Java division is launched and the company's staff grows to 44. Over the past 20 years, the technology-savvy university students have grown into seasoned professionals and today they continue to work to achieve greater technological and human success to the utmost satisfaction of their clients.
